Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi → Drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Your adventure begins early morning with pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or the airport.
Drive north through Kenya’s lush central highlands, passing tea and coffee plantations, and enjoy views of the majestic Mount Kenya.

Arrive at Ol Pejeta Conservancy in time for a mid-morning game drive.
Ol Pejeta is a conservation success story — home to the last two remaining northern white rhinos, a thriving population of black rhinos, and Kenya’s only chimpanzee sanctuary at Sweetwaters.

In the afternoon, enjoy another game drive through open savannas teeming with elephants, buffalo, zebras, giraffes, and even the elusive leopard.

Visit the Rhino Information Centre to learn about anti-poaching and community conservation efforts that make Ol Pejeta one of Africa’s leading wildlife sanctuaries.

Arrive in time for lunch, then embark on a relaxing boat safari on Lake Naivasha, where you’ll glide past hippos, pelicans, cormorants, and fish eagles swooping for prey.

Next, take a guided walking safari on Crescent Island, where you’ll walk freely among zebras, giraffes, and wildebeests — a rare opportunity to connect closely with nature.

Optional: Visit Hell’s Gate National Park, famous for its dramatic gorges and geothermal scenery. You can cycle through the park — a unique experience in Kenya!

After breakfast, depart for the Masai Mara Game Reserve, traveling through scenic farmlands and the Great Rift Valley.

Arrive in time for lunch at your camp or lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive across the rolling savannah.

The Mara is Africa’s most famous wildlife sanctuary — home to all Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo), as well as cheetahs, giraffes, and countless antelope species.

Between July and October, you’ll witness the Great Wildebeest Migration, where over 1.5 million wildebeests and zebras cross the Mara River in dramatic fashion.

As the sun sets, return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation around the campfire.

Day 4: Full-Day Game Drives in Masai Mara

Wake early for a full day in the Masai Mara, the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife crown.
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives — or opt for a full-day safari with picnic lunch in the wild.

Your guide will help you track lions on the hunt, elephants grazing in acacia woodlands, and leopards resting in tree branches.

If visiting during the migration season, you’ll witness the incredible river crossings — where thousands of wildebeests and zebras risk it all against crocodile-infested waters.

Optional: Take a sunrise hot air balloon safari for a bird’s-eye view of the Mara’s vast plains, ending with a champagne breakfast in the bush (extra cost).

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 5: Morning Game Drive → Return to Nairobi

Start your final day with an early morning game drive as the Mara awakens.
Capture the golden sunrise, listen to the calls of birds, and say goodbye to the wilderness that has captured your heart.

After breakfast, depart for Nairobi, arriving by late afternoon.
